The Chair of International Relations, Global Economics and International Law started its work in September, 2010, after reorganization of the Chair of International Relations, Public Relations and Journalism, which was established in accordance with the Rector’s order 36-a on March 13, 2006.

In the last 2 years the Chair has been rated second among the University’s 40 chairs.

General Directions of Academic Activities and Scientific Research: The basic focuses of the Chair’s scientific research are international relations issues, geopolitics, information security problems, non-political factors of modern political processes, international and domestic law, globalization and its influence on international relations, diplomacy, and problems of fighting terrorism.

Professors and post-graduate students of the Chair are engaged in various academic and scientific activities and take an active part in international, federal, regional and University conferences.
