Davydova Yelena Vladislavovna
Elena Vladislavovna Davydova graduated from Rostov State University as a historian, lector of social and political disciplines in 1997. From 1997 to 2007 she was working in the South Russian Lyceum of Kozakdom and Caucasus Peoples, including 4 years of Deputy director on academic work. She started her work in Pyatigorsk State University in 2007. During her carrier she was working at the following chairs: management, politology, and sociology; creative and innovative management and law.
She defended her thesis of the Candidate of Pedagogic Science with a “Realization of a Principle of Connection of a School and Life in a Soviet School of 1917-1991” in 13.00.01 General Pedagogy, History of Pedagogics and Education. The academic degree was given by the PSLU dissertation council in pedagogic and psychological sciences and approved by the Higher Attestation Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation on April 15, 2013. Since 2014 she has been working as an Assistant Professor at the Chair of Creative and Innovative Management and Law. She reads the following courses: Sociology; Sociology of Youth; Theory of a Social Work; Social Technologies in a Work with the Young; Technologies of a Social Work; Consulting in a Social Work; Theory and Practice of Occupational Therapy; Social Therapy; Social Projecting and Modelling.
Area of expertise: sociology of solidarism and social aid; methodological fundamentals of educational process connection with a life practice; contemporary technologies of social work, studies for a life quality as a sociological category.
At present E.V. Davydova successfully works at the Higher School of Management at the Institute of Foreign Tourism, Institute of Translatology and Multilingualism, as well as in other Institutes and Higher Schools of PSU. She has more than 40 publications, including 15 methodic and more than 25 scientific works which are used in a pedagogy practice.
Since 2018 she has been a senior scientific officer of the academic center of political and ethnopolitical researches at Pyatigorsk State University.
In addition to her qualification as a historian, lector of social and political disciplines, she mastered an educational program “Lector of the Higher School”, and took advanced training in Manager of a Social Field, Contemporary Technologies of a Social Work, Specialist in a Government Youth Policy in “Collaboration with the Young”.
She is the Head of the basic professional educational program in 39.03.02 Social Work, 39.03.03. Collaboration with the Young.
