Irina Igorevna Pavlenko has been working at Pyatigorsk State University since 2008 and is one of the leading experts in informational and communicational technologies. Apart from her pedagogic activity she supervises the scientific work of the Institute of Distant Educational and Development of Informational and Communicational Technologies; she is the supervisor of educational programs in the field of applied informatics, head of the Department of Informational and Computer Technologies at the Institute of Roman and German Languages, Informational and Humanitarian Technologies, supervisor of practical training and production practice at this department. She published more than 30 scientific articles in Russian and foreign editions, two monographs, more than 10 articles in journals recommended by HAC, more than 5 articles indexed in Scopus and Web of Science.

I.I. Pavlenko is an author and co-author of academic and methodic aids, electronic educational courses, possesses a certificate of Rospatent for computer software registration.

I.I. Pavlenko actively participates in regional, Russian, and international conferences in Russia and abroad; she is a co-organizer and a member of organizing committees of Russian and international conferences on informational technologies, electronic education, and informational safety.

Irina Pavlenko takes an active part in a social life, connected with her professional field: she is a member of “Electronic Future” International Festival organizing committee in the North Caucasus Federal District, co-chairman of the organizing committee of the Russian Youth Volunteer Movement “Timurovtsy of Informational Society” in NCFD, which develops informational culture of informational safety for children, youth, and senior generation citizens.
