PSU Hosts Italian Students of Alessandro Greppi Linguistic Lyceum
As a part of a collaboration between Pyatigorsk State University and Alessandro Greppi Linguistic Lyceum (Monticello Brianza, Italy) a group of PSU students who study the Italian language at Institute of Foreign Languages and International Tourism visited Italian partners having taken a brief course of Italian and visiting the sight of the region and Milan. They lived in families of their counterparts who studied Russian language and found new friends with whom they communicate till now.
And now, a group of Alessandro Greppi Linguistic Lyceum students paid a return visit to Pyatigorsk supervised by Maria Grazia Binazzini, lector of the Russian language. Apart from the acquaintance with the university and intensive Russian classes, the guests will visit families of their Russian friends and will see the sights of Pyatigorsk and Caucasus Mineral Waters, Arkhyz mountain resort, and learn about the traditions and customs of Terek Cossacks.
Exchanges like these, which became a new stage of the international ties development of the Institute of Foreign Languages and International Tourism, not only promotes internationalization of an educational process but also strengthen friendship and mutual understanding of the young from Italy and Russia.
