17.12.2019On December 17, 2019, Pushkin Institute – Center of Russian Language and Culture at Luigi Vanvitelli Campania University held a linguocultural event, devoted to the customs and traditions of New Year’s celebration in Russia.
The program included a colorful presentation on “New Year in Russia”, prepared by Marina Dzhagaryan, senior lecturer from the Chair of Linguocommunicativistics and Applied Foreign Languages at the Institute of Foreign Languages and International Tourism. The students were interested to know a lot of new things about the celebration of the coldest but at the same time the warmest and the most fun holiday in our country.
Russian New Year concluded with a cheerful feast with traditional holiday dishes from Russian cuisine. Italian students served the table by themselves together with M. Dzhagaryan.
The event gathered Rosanna Cioffi, Prorector for Culture at Luigi Vanvitelli Campania University, honorary professor of PSU, Massimo Capaccioli, honorary professor of Federico II University of Naples, honorary professor of PSU, and Bella Takushinova, Coordinator of Pushkin Institute – Center of Russian Language and Culture at Luigi Vanvitelli Campania University, lecturer at the Chair of Linguocommunicativistics and Applied Foreign Languages at IFLIT.
